Topshelf ARTistry by NiSi was born in 2020, during the quiet stillness of the COVID-19 pandemic. After being laid off for most of the year, I turned to painting and poetry as a way to cope—a creative outlet that helped me process emotions, combat isolation, and offer connection to others who might be feeling the same. What began as personal healing quickly blossomed into a passion and purpose I never anticipated.

Since those early days, my artistic journey has taken on a life of its own. My work has reached audiences across the country through social media and was even featured on platforms like Fox News and Newsmax, thanks to the unwavering support of Democratic Strategist Sarah Norman. The encouragement I’ve received—from loved ones and complete strangers alike—has been both humbling and empowering.

From small 4x4-inch canvases to pieces taller than I am (and I stand proudly at just 4’10”), each creation tells a story. Every brushstroke reflects a moment of resilience, self-discovery, and the belief that art has the power to heal, connect, and transform.
